Refugee Week is a UK-wide programme of arts, cultural and educational events and activities that celebrates the contribution of refugees to the UK and promotes better understanding of why people seek sanctuary. Anyone can take part by organising, attending or taking part in activities. It is held in June every year and is coordinated nationally by Refugee Council. We can offer schools resources for teaching and learning about refugees, including those we have created through projects with refugee communities. We also organise activities for schools to raise awareness of refugee issues. Contact us for further information.
