Ahmed Iqbal Ullah was a 13 year old Bangladeshi boy who was tragically murdured in a racist incident at the playground of burnage High in 1986. Ahmed went to the aid of a younger friend who was being racially abused by Darren Coulburn, who then stabbed Ahmed.
The Ahmed Iqbal Ullah Race Relations Resource Centre aims to encourage self-confidence and pride in black and ethnic minority people, to equip white people to resist racist appeals and to offer support in challenging racism in all its forms.
