A long time ago in India there lived a monster called Bhasmasura. He was a gigantic monster with sharp claws, a hairy, multi-coloured body and fangs like swords. Bhasmasura lived in a cave high up in the mountains. He had a magic power: if he put his hand on someone’s head they would turn into a handful of ash!
